Rakkha is a powerful word meaning 'The Protector'

RAKKHA was formed after identifying HATE CRIME incidents, especially in the Sikh and South Asian communities, which only get highlighted when the issue gets serious and flagged through social media. We want to nip them in the bud before they escalate making the incidents even more serious.

RAKKHA is a Third-Party Reporting site and here to help and educate our Sikh and South Asian communities as well as anyone else to report any Hate Crime incident that has and is taking place. We do not differentiate on Race, Religion, Beliefs, Disabilities, Sexual Orientation, Gender, or misogyny.

We have tried to capture as many of our communities as possible. Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Christian, and many more.

Rakkha is not affiliated to any religious/political organisation and only here to report Hate Crime incidents using the website as and when they occur.

We are here to empower you to make the change

Core Principles

RAKKHA aims to educate and build a trust with communities, on the importance of reporting Hate Crime Incidents, even if there is no outcome at the end.

Community Hate Crime Ambassadors: trained to understand Hate Crime Incidents and sole purpose to support and assist the community especially those with language / technical barriers, which prevent them from accessing the help they need.

Presence: via distribution of posters / leaflets on Hate Crime at ground level in, businesses, community centres, places of worship, libraries, social media, events and many more.

Collaboration: closely with Police, and other regulated bodies to improve community cohesion.
